Planning Your Winter Vacation Adventure in Killington

We (obviously) think snowmobiling is one of the best ways to experience winter in Killington, VT, but there are a lot of other great things going on in our neck of the woods. If you want to make the most of your trip to this Vermont winter wonderland, check out some of these great places and activities.

Rutland Winterfest 2020 – It’s the 18th year for this fantastic festival and we can’t wait to go ourselves! Running the weeks of February vacation, from February 14th-23rd, there’s an entire schedule of activities planned, from free community skate nights to pajama movie screenings at the Paramount Theater in town. See what’s happening when you’re here and plan to have some fun!

The Beast Mountain Coaster – Sound like something out of Harry Potter? Almost! The Beast is Killington’s winter rollercoaster and it’s an absolute blast. At 4,800 feet long, The Beast twists and turns through the wintery woods to the bottom of the mountain. It’s open weekends and peak dates only and has age and weight restrictions. Be sure to check them before heading over.

Relax with some spa time – After a vigorous day on one of our snowmobiles, you’ve earned some relaxation points. If you’re staying at Killington, look no further than the Killington Grand Spa. Have your own condo, or grabbed an AirBnB? Try A Signature Day Spa. From massages to pedicures, get the pampering you need from local experts.

Hungry? – Farm-to-table is a way of life here in Vermont and our restaurants reflect this. You might want to try newcomer, Taco X. They’ve been getting rave reviews for their homemade gourmet tacos. Of course, you can’t say you’ve been to Killington without having at least one meal at Casey’s Caboose. Some say Casey’s has been here since the mountains formed. All we know is we love their menu, especially their craft beer selections. Sushi Yoshi is another local favorite, offering Chinese and Japanese cuisine, including Hibachi tables where you get dinner and a show – fun for the whole family.

We hope we’ve been able to give you some great ideas to add to your vacation plans here in Killington, Vermont. Have questions for us? Don’t hesitate to call!

We look forward to seeing you!
